Thank you to all the Ottawa Catholic Schools (OCSB) and Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) parents who joined us to learn more about Healthy Eating & Financial Literacy Wednesday night. Our Healthy Eating speakers Mary and Linda from Ontario Home Economics Association were fabulous. So much knowledge to share. Of course the yummy treats were a bonus too. Nothing like community building with our fellow OCSB St. Anne Elementary School Parent, Pamela Weatherby, speaking about Financial Literacy. Great information on how important it is for us to start teaching our children as early as possible about finances. A very scary subject for all of us!

The reward chart covers four weeks, and there are two opportunities for your child to try a new food each day. Simply have them color in one of the apples (or use a sticker) every time they try something new, and when they’ve filled in the appropriate amount of apples, they earn a reward.
